TTLCIC - 'Help a child publish a story' project

'Help a child publish a story' project

Children from 5 to 19 years old and their families took part in the project. The ‘Help a Child Publish a Story’ project was funded by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Arts Grants Scheme in 2017-18, to develop an understanding of common elements within traditional stories and guide the participants to write their own stories.

TTLCIC - Help a Child Publish a Story

The stories are archived. The project continues to deliver story writing workshops for lifelong learners and new stories are added to the Story Library regularly. It is also known as the 'My Story Project' among the participants.

The project workshops delivered in the library in 2017-18 attracted under fives and their parents and carers.  These parents and carers helped their children tell stories and they recorded their children’s stories on paper or using the online ‘submit a story’ form we developed on our website.

The Story Library is being updated regularly since the completion of the project. The project stories are published on the Story Library section of our website at http://www.talktogetherlondon.org/ and team blog at http://www.talktogetherlondon.org.uk/.
